1. Sentosa Island

Ticket prices might be affected by PEAK/NON- PEAK seasons!  

The theme park is usually peak during Fridays, weekends and Public Holidays where most families would bring their kids out. Note that June and December are also popular months as these are the Singaporean school holidays! This means that each ride during peak period would be around 3 to 4 hours of waiting time. You can opt for the USS express pass (skip queue) for a more enjoyable experience during peak period!  A pro-tip would be visiting the park  during non-peak periods where ticket prices are cheaper and a shorter queue for rides!

4. Gardens by the Bay

5. Botanic Gardens

You can also step away from the bustling city and head down to Singapore’s Botanic Gardens. Night Safari

River Safari 

River Safari is the youngest park in the country. Having opened on 29 November 2012, it is the newest addition to the previous 3 parks. It is also Asia’s first and only river-themed wildlife park. The park is home to 400 plant species and over 7,500 aquatic and terrestrial animals representing close to 240 species, including one of the world’s largest collections of freshwater animals. 

River Safari is home to threatened species such as the giant panda, manatee and Mekong giant catfish. Perhaps one of its most well-known inhabitants is the giant pandas, Jia Jia and Kai Kai, pictured below!

Jurong Bird Park

8. Macritchie Treetop Walk

If you would like to explore more of Singapore’s nature, the Macritchie Treetop Walk is one of the hottest hiking routes taken by local hiking lovers. This is also an absolutely free and healthy activity to embark on if you’re in Singapore! On the Macritchie Treetop Walk, hikers would be able to see a myriad of attractions from the monkeys on the treetop bridge to the different snake species that appear out of the bush. 

It is the first of its kind in Singapore and has a free-standing suspension bridge that links the two highest points (Bukit Peirce and Bukit Kalang) in MacRitchie. You can have a bird’s eye view of the community of plants and animals that live in the forest canopy. The total length of the walkway is about 250m and its height from the forest floor varies, with the highest point at 25m.
